Job summary

Crawford Architects is seeking a Senior Architect to provide leadership across all project phases, from programming and conceptual design through construction administration.

This position leads project teams, mentors architectural staff, coordinates with clients and consultants, and ensures the successful delivery of projects that meet Crawford Architects' standards for design excellence, technical quality, and client service.

Qualifications

• Professional Bachelor or Master of Architecture from an accredited school.
• Licensed Architect (RA) required.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible architectural experience.
• Experience leading commercial architectural projects; sports/entertainment/large-scale is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural project teams through all design phases from programming to construction administration.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, staffing, and resources with Project Managers.
• Mentor and train architects and staff, fostering a collaborative studio environment.
• Manage multiple projects across sizes and complexities.
• Develop and oversee designs, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, renderings, and 3D models.
• Prepare studies, space planning, and adjacency analyses to support development.
• Ensure designs meet client goals, budgets, and codes; QA/QC throughout documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, construction managers, and contractors; lead client presentations and reviews.
