Actalent in Royal Oak, MI seeks a licensed Architect to take ownership of complex project segments from schematic design through construction documents, coordinating with MEP, structural, and civil teams to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.

You will mentor junior staff, conduct code analyses (IBC, ADA/ABA, FGI, local codes), and participate in construction administration with increasing client-facing responsibility across healthcare, multifamily, and higher education projects.

Qualifikationen

• Active architectural license required, with eligibility for Michigan registration or reciprocity.

Aufgaben

• Own assigned project segments from schematic design through construction documents with coordination and on-time delivery.
• Lead multi-discipline coordination with MEP, structural, and civil consultants.
• Perform building code analysis (IBC, ADA/ABA, FGI, local codes) and apply findings to design and documentation.
• Direct day-to-day production work of Architect I and II, including task assignment and redline reviews.
• Manage RFI and submittal reviews during construction administration.
• Conduct site observations and author field reports during construction.
• Represent the firm in client meetings and OAC settings, presenting design solutions with growing authority.
• Author and review CSI specifications across divisions.
• Identify risks early and support project principal with risk management.
• Contribute to project execution plans and Rev/AutoCAD production processes.
• Support healthcare, multifamily, and higher education projects across all phases.
• Mentor colleagues involved in healthcare projects.
