Job summary

Ghafari Associates seeks an experienced Architect to lead design development and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams on large projects. You will produce schematic design, DD, and construction documents using Revit, AutoCAD, and related tools.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering, and NCARB AXP completion. A hybrid work model in multiple U.S. locations supports flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering; Master’s preferred.
• NCARB AXP completion required.
• Licensing exams in progress preferred.
• LEED Certification preferred.
• WELL Building Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and run moderate to large, complex projects.
• Establish design parameters: code, site restrictions, budget, schedule.
• Prepare project work plans and mini-sheet sets; lead execution.
• Oversee daily activities of the architectural project team and quality of Construction Documents.
• Provide mentorship and learning opportunities for junior staff.
• Produce schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
• Maintain architectural standards and production tools.
