Job summary

Ghafari Associates, a global engineering and architectural design firm, is seeking an Architect for its team. The role supports senior staff in executing office and project-related design tasks of simple complexity, with emphasis on assembling drawings, documents, and models.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Architecture or Architectural Engineering, 0-3 years of experience, and are beginning the NCARB AXP process. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering required.
• 0-3 years related architecture experience required.
• Begin NCARB AXP process to start.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand existing construction documents and assist in field checks of architectural features.
• Assist in production of existing building as-built drawings and develop architectural backgrounds.
• Assist in set-up of project files per client or office standards and assist in producing construction documents under direction.
• Assist with design tasks and technical documentation under direction from the Design Lead.
• Collaborate with project team members across disciplines and follow directions from PM or lead Project Architect.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering

0-3 years related architecture experience
