BRPH is seeking a creative Architect specializing in K-12 educational programming to join our Orlando office. The ideal candidate will understand how educational environments foster learning, collaboration, and innovation, working with educators and administrators to create engaging spaces.

The role involves leading design development, conducting needs assessments, and coordinating with stakeholders to translate requirements into architectural solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Ten years of experience as an architect.
  • Must be certified as a Professional Registered Architect.
  • Technically competent to sign and seal construction documents.
  • Experience managing midsize to large projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of K-12 educational facilities with alignment to current educational standards.
  • Conduct comprehensive programming analyses to determine educational requirements.
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and stakeholders throughout the design process.
  • Incorporate sustainable design practices and innovative technologies.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Ensure designs comply with codes and accessibility standards.
  • Provide project management and industry training where needed.
