Job summary

Hargrove Life Sciences is seeking an experienced Architect to lead design and preparation of building plans under general supervision. The role involves presenting designs, reviewing plans for codes and aesthetics, and coordinating with clients to define functional spaces and costs.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture and 10+ years of experience, with Registered Architect preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master of Science degree in Architecture from an accredited university is required.
Registered Architect is highly preferred.
10+ years of architectural experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Presents project design to Leaders for review and makes recommendations to meet their needs.
Participates in final inspection of improvement projects and makes recommendation regarding acceptance of construction work.
May review building plans and site designs for aesthetics, environmental acceptability, codes compliance and accessibility requirements.
Prepares reports and correspondence.
Researches, plans, designs and supervises construction of building projects for clients, according to needs and resources.
Consults with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of new structure or renovation and prepares information regarding design, specifications, materials, cost, and construction time.
