Job summary

WSP is seeking an Experienced Architect / Architectural Designer to join the Industrial Center within the Property & Buildings team. Location options include Boise, Minneapolis, or Atlanta offices.

You will contribute to planning, design, and delivery of industrial and advanced facilities projects, working with architects, engineers, and PMs to develop drawings, renderings, and construction documents. Responsibilities span site visits, code research, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of professional architectural design experience.
• Experience from concept through construction documentation.
• Working knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare architectural drawings, renderings, and design docs for diverse projects.
• Collect and analyze information from site visits, surveys, GIS data, and maps.
• Support design efforts for new construction, renovations, and facility upgrades.
• Prepare construction documents, specs, and presentation materials.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and designers to meet schedules.
• Use Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp to develop design solutions and docs.
• Conduct site visits to document conditions and support design.
• Research materials and building systems to meet project goals.
• Present concepts and communicate project requirements clearly.
• Assist with QA/QC of drawings and documentation.
