Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking an Architect to provide professional architectural oversight for federal construction and facility projects at Fort Hood. You will review designs, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with government personnel, engineers, contractors, and project stakeholders to meet functional, aesthetic, and operational goals.

Required are a Bachelor's in Architecture and RA licensure, with at least five years of experience and US citizenship with background and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in architecture required.
• Registered Architect (RA) license required.
• Minimum five years of experience as an architect.
• Federal project experience (USACE preferred).
• Experience reviewing design submittals and RFIs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee architectural aspects of federal facilities.
• Review designs for code compliance and quality.
• Monitor construction progress against milestones.
• Provide feedback on design elements and space planning.
• Maintain design documentation and approvals.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors and stakeholders.
• Lead design review meetings and address issues.
