Job summary

Accura Engineering seeks an Architect to provide architectural oversight for federal construction and facility projects, primarily with Fort Hood and related engagements. The role involves reviewing designs, ensuring regulatory compliance, monitoring construction, and coordinating with engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.

The candidate will maintain design documentation, enforce quality control, and address architectural challenges to ensure the project meets functional and aesthetic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
• Registered Architect (RA) license required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an Architect.
• US Army Corps of Engineering (USACE) or other federal project experience preferred.
• Experience managing projects through planning, design, construction documentation, and construction phases preferred.
• Experience reviewing construction submittals and RFIs preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, quality control procedures, and architectural design standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional architectural oversight for federal construction and facility projects.
• Review architectural designs for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Monitor construction activities and maintain quality standards.
• Collaborate with government personnel, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
