Job summary

RS&H in Colorado Springs seeks a Senior Architect to join the Federal Market Buildings team. You will lead architectural design for mission‑driven facilities, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and federal clients.

This role requires NAAB‑accredited degree, licensure, and at least 10 years of relevant experience, plus strong communication and mentorship. You will guide project delivery through all phases and help grow client relationships.

Qualifications

• NAAB‑accredited architecture degree or equivalent experience.
• Active architectural license in good standing.
• 10+ years of architectural experience, with major or multi‑project leadership.
• Experience supporting Federal, military, or government clients.
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, fire regulations.
• Strong communication and teamwork with clients and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Define architectural project elements and processes for Federal clients.
• Lead estimates, proposals, and bid preparations.
• Ensure contract requirements through coordination with disciplines.
• Plan and develop architectures for complex projects.
• Mentor junior staff and review technical work.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate with management.
