Job summary

Matiz Architecture And Design is seeking a mid to senior Architect for New York projects, with emphasis on educational and community-oriented buildings. You will lead design efforts, collaborate with clients, consultants, and builders to realize project goals and deliver high-quality environments.

The role requires a US architecture degree and NYC project experience, strong REVIT skills, and a drive toward licensure.

Qualifications

• US-education architecture degree is required
• Ability to work in a team setting and be motivated
• Strong verbal and written communication to collaborate with clients, builders and vendors
• Experience on educational/institutional buildings and community centers through all design phases
• Good technical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent REVIT skills
• Adobe Suite and Bluebeam skills are a plus
• On track to licensure or licensed is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead design from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, builders and vendors to ensure quality and timely deliverables
• Coordinate educational/institutional project components across all phases
