Job summary

Matiz Architecture & Design in Midtown Manhattan is seeking an Intermediate-Senior Level Architect with 6+ years of experience to join a collaborative team focused on education and community projects. You will contribute across all phases from schematic design to Construction Administration, serving clients, builders and vendors with a strong technical mindset.

Applicants should hold a US architecture degree and be on track for licensure; NYC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture from a United States institution is required.
• Ability to work in a team and be highly motivated.
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients, builders and vendors.
• Experience on educational/institutional buildings and community centers in all design/construction phases.
• Strong technical aptitude with problem-solving mindset.
• On track for licensure or licensed is preferred.

We are currently seeking an Intermediate-Senior Level Architect who is looking to join a collaborative team based in midtown Manhattan. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience, and have the following skills:

• Degree in Architecture from a United States educational institution required and NYC experience preferred
• Ability to work in a team setting and highly motivated
• Able to communicate effectively with strong verbal/written skills and to collaborate with clients, builders and vendors to ensure quality and timeliness of project deliverables.
• Experience on educational/institutional buildings and community centers in all phases of design/construction from Schematic Design through Construction Administration
• Good Technical aptitude with a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent REVIT skills
• Adobe Suite and Bluebeam skills a plus
• On track to licensure or licensed is preferred
• Salary commensurate with experience
