Job summary

Bobbitt is seeking an Architect in Cary, NC to collaborate with design teams and stakeholders to plan, design, and deliver on-time, in-budget commercial spaces. The role emphasizes constructible designs, code-compliant documentation, and coordination with internal and external teams.

The ideal candidate will hold an Architecture degree (NAAB) with strong Revit and 3D visualization skills, plus a mix of organizational, analytical, and communicative abilities to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture (NAAB Accredited Program required).
• Proficient in Revit and 3D visualization.
• Understanding of design principles, practices, and tools.
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with and provide guidance to project stakeholders and staff regarding design/construction requirements.
• Network and promote Bobbitt Design and Construction teams.
• Develop constructible, efficient, code-compliant designs through programming, schematic, and design development stages for internal pricing.
• Develop clear and accurate construction documents for submittal.
• Review and collaborate on construction documents with internal/external teams for best practices.
• Coordinate staff for project planning and design; oversee field questions to keep construction on track.
• Collaborate with external mechanical, electrical, structural, site, and specialty consultants.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
