Job summary

CBI is seeking a Commercial Interior Designer in the Raleigh area. You will oversee commercial interiors projects from concept through completion, managing assessments, space planning, drawings, specifications, pricing, logistics and installation.

The role emphasizes client communication, budgeting, and schedule management, with advancement opportunities based on performance, complexity of projects, and client interaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related industry experience in commercial interiors.
• Experience with MillerKnoll product application is a plus but not required.
• Candidates reside in or near Raleigh or Winston‑Salem.

Responsibilities

• Manage interior design and project management for multiple projects and clients.
• Interview clients and develop a furniture-based design program.
• Coordinate delivery scheduling and installation, including site visits and measurements.
• Develop knowledge of technical and design details of MillerKnoll product lines.
• Create and deliver interior design presentations using PowerPoint and visualization tools.
• Manage budgets and change orders using specification tools and Excel.
