Job summary

Design Collaborative based in Charlotte, NC is looking for a full-time Architectural Project Manager dedicated to leading design efforts across a variety of commercial projects. This role encompasses managing project teams, schedules, and budgets while ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in architecture or design, including a Bachelor or Master of Architecture, preferably registered as an Architect or Interior Designer. Strong leadership capabilities and a collaborative spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Architect (RA) or Registered Interior Design (RID) preferred.
• 7+ years’ experience with an architecture/design firm.
• 3+ years' experience in Architectural Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from concept through construction, ensuring quality.
• Manage collaboration between in-house teams.
• Develop and manage project schedules and budgets.
• Serve as main point of contact for clients.
• Oversee design documentation and code compliance.
• Manage submittals and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead construction phase services including site visits.
• Support the development of junior staff.
