Job summary

Clark Nexsen, a JMT Company, is seeking a Senior Architect to lead architectural design across all project phases on moderate to large-scale projects in Virginia Beach, VA. You will guide technical approach, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure design excellence while mentoring staff.

Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience and credentials. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program.
• Licensed Architect with current credentials.
• LEED AP or comparable sustainability credential.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design for projects across design through construction administration.
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate architectural solutions.
• Ensure quality, constructability, and technical integrity via QA/QC standards.
• Provide field oversight during construction and respond to RFIs and shop drawings.
• Travel to JMT locations and project sites as required.
• Mentor staff and drive project execution with budget and schedule accountability.
