Qualifications

• 12 years of experience in distributed system design and implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience presenting architectural designs and technical visions to cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to design solutions aligned with Akamai's strategy and roadmap.
• Present and support architectural designs and technical visions to internal cross-functional teams.
• Define and implement standards for systems design, development, testing and quality assurance practices.
• Design reliable, high-quality, usable software that meets the needs of the business for robust, scalable, and highly available systems.
• Conduct research on emerging trends and technologies related to network operations and automation.
