VCBO Architecture, an established firm in Salt Lake City, seeks an experienced Architect to lead design and delivery on impactful projects across sectors. The role offers autonomy, mentoring opportunities, and a chance to elevate design quality within a collaborative studio culture.

You’ll mentor staff, help advance design best practices, and work with civic and historic projects whose impact strengthens communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Licensure preferred.
• Strong Revit proficiency; familiarity with additional design and BIM tools a plus.
• Experience across multiple project types, with civic and/or historic project experience preferred.
• Clear communicator with the ability to lead, mentor, and manage complex work.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, technical direction, and documentation for complex architectural projects.
• Mentor and guide interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal staff to align design vision and execution.
