Job summary

VCBO Architecture is seeking an experienced Architect to lead design and delivery on impactful projects across a range of sectors. The role demands a design- and technically-strong leader who guides teams, shapes project vision, and contributes to a collaborative studio culture.

You’ll work with a high level of autonomy, mentor staff, and help advance design quality and best practices across the firm. Licensure is preferred, with strong Revit proficiency and BIM tool familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Licensure preferred.
• Strong Revit proficiency; familiarity with additional design and BIM tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, technical direction, and documentation for complex architectural projects.
• Mentor and guide interdisciplinary teams.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal staff to align design vision and execution.
• Oversee quality and consistency from concept through construction.
• Represent the firm in presentations and stakeholder meetings.
