Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to lead design development and deliver high-quality construction documents for Australian projects, while coordinating with global teams remotely.

The role requires strong knowledge of Australian codes, licensure progress, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and MS Project. Remote work with international teams is a core part of this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or project leadership role focused on Australian projects.
• Experience working remotely is required.
• Australian Expertise: Extensive knowledge of Australian building codes, standards, and construction practices is essential.
• Licensure: Licensed architect, or in the process of obtaining licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design Development: Assisting the Design Manager in reviewing and tracking design process and completeness for our projects.
• Technical Documentation: Review and track detailed architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents using CAD and BIM software, with a focus on Australian building standards and practices.
• Project Management: Assist the Design Manager in creating and tracking Design Programs for our projects, and in following up Cobild Design processes and checklist with our project teams.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Design Manager and Project teams, designers, engineers, and consultants to ensure the delivery of quality documentation and design outcomes.
• Remote Coordination: Utilize virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to communicate effectively with team members and clients across Australia.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure all designs and documents meet Cobilds high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance with Australian building regulations.
• Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Australian architecture and remote project management.
