What Is the Opportunity?

Join the AI and Emerging Technology Architecture team to design and deliver AI solutions that create business impact.

Responsibilities

• Apply hands‑on experience in AI/ML, Generative AI, and agentic AI systems.
• Partner with lead architects and domain teams to advance enterprise AI solutions architecture practice.
• Translate business requirements into AI platform designs covering LLM integration, RAG pipelines, memory systems, and tool/function‑calling patterns.
• Support governance and risk processes for safe and compliant AI deployments.
• Stay current with evolving AI platform landscape and share insights to shape technical direction.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams, communicating concepts clearly.

What Will You Do?

• Scope: Architecture within one or more segments or domains for a single business unit.
• Technical Execution: Define and lead technology proof‑of‑concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions.
• Drive continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt.
• Conduct hands‑on prototyping and proof‑of‑concepts.
• Partner with leadership for alignment with technology direction.
• Strategic Accountability: Define target state architecture and roadmaps.
• Identify opportunities from emerging technology trends to reduce technical debt.
• Support technology modernization initiatives.
• Deliver comprehensive communications regarding architectural direction.
• Cultivate strong relationships and secure buy‑in.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in technology‑related field or equivalent, with 8+ years architecture experience.
• Strong architecture and recent hands‑on engineering experience with modern technologies.
• Successfully architected large‑scale technology initiatives.
• Advanced leadership skills with ability to inspire and motivate teams.
• Experience working in an agile operational model and supporting transformational change.
• Insurance technology experience preferred.
• Understanding of value creation, business capability models, and insurance industry.
• Experience analyzing problems, evaluating information, and exploring alternative solutions.
• Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills.

Hands‑On AI & ML Experience

• Experience in AI/ML development and deployment with core ML algorithms and neural network architectures.
• Familiarity with MLOps & AI Ops practices and CI/CD for AI/ML workflows.
• Experience with Generative AI foundation (LLMs, transformer architectures, prompt engineering).
• Proficiency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Enterprise/CLI/Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot.
• Knowledge of agentic AI patterns—tool use, function calling, RAG pipelines, memory systems, vector databases, multi‑agent orchestration.
• Familiarity with agent orchestration frameworks (LangChain, Strands, Crew AI) and integration protocols such as MCP.
• Experience with cloud AI services (AWS Bedrock, optional Azure or GCP).
• Working knowledge of responsible AI principles, AI ethics, and compliance considerations.
• Awareness of AI governance frameworks and risk management practices.

Must Have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or equivalent in education and/or work experience.
• 6 additional years of architecture/software engineering experience.
