Job summary

Pacific Life is seeking a Senior Archer Developer to join our Risk Technology Solutions team in Charlotte, NC or Newport Beach, CA. You will design, implement, and maintain Archer applications while aligning with business goals.

The role requires strong Archer expertise, risk management knowledge, and a collaborative approach to drive scalable, reliable solutions. You will lead configuration, workflows, and reporting, participate in MVP planning, and support testing and production operations.

Qualifications

• Over 5 years of hands-on Archer experience (v6+), core solutions, on-demand apps.
• Archer SaaS implementations and deployment considerations.
• Experience with Business Continuity platforms (Everbridge, BC in the Cloud).
• Design and configure Archer solutions: layouts, workflows, reporting, notifications, access controls, packaging, installation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, implement, and maintain Archer apps aligned with business goals.
• Adapt work style to initiatives, balancing structure and flexibility for successful outcomes.
• Contribute to solution documentation and presentations, securing stakeholder alignment.
• Operate independently on complex initiatives, understand challenges, and drive execution.
• Partner with delivery teams to ensure scalable, maintainable Archer solutions.
• Define and size initiatives, advocate MVP approach for incremental value.
• Conduct unit testing and support QA and UAT to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Provide responsive production support and troubleshoot to maintain system reliability.
• Stay current with industry trends, bringing growth mindset and innovation.
• Share knowledge and support team collaboration.
