Stantec is seeking an experienced archaeologist for a Walnut Creek-based role supporting senior review of cultural resources field work for utilities programs. You will perform archaeological survey, testing, evaluation, and monitoring, write reports, and coordinate with project teams, while ensuring safety and independence when appropriate.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, strong archaeology and HSSE skills, and willingness to travel up to 100%

Formación

• Master’s degree required with significant field and report writing experience.
• Strong background in archaeology and HSSE compliance.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and coordinate complex projects.

Responsabilidades

• Manage tasks and projects per approved scopes and deliver reports on time and budget.
• Interfacing professionally with Tribes, clients, and staff.
• Perform QA/QC on field notes and deliverables.
• Conduct site inspections and contract administration.
• Support HSSE policies in daily work and project execution.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; review work for quality.
