Job summary

Stantec, a global leader in sustainable engineering and environmental consulting, is seeking an experienced Archaeology/Environmental professional to lead regional cultural resources work. The role involves coordinating field surveys, report submittals, and client interfacing, while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Based in our Bellevue, WA office with potential travel to the Intermountain region.

Qualifications

• Must hold permit for archaeological work in inter-mountain area (UT, ID, NV).
• Proven track record of successful business development.
• Ability to travel as required by project needs.
• Communications with clients, regulators, and staff to exchange technical information.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to prepare report submittals and coordinate cultural resources fieldwork.
• Manage tasks and projects per approved scopes and budgets.
• Perform QA/QC on deliverables and review junior staff work.
• Interface with clients and environmental regulators.
• Prepare contract documents, designs, and project permitting.
• Support HSSE policies and maintain safety standards.
• Provide supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
• Develop innovative, efficient project solutions and ensure quality.
• Oversee project delivery and maintain best practices.
