Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Technical Program Manager III in Sunnyvale, CA (onsite) to drive hardware-focused programs for wearable devices. You will own electrical parts, manage PCB fabrication, and lead design releases from concept to production.

This role requires coordinating with APAC vendors, optimizing SMT/FATP builds, and delivering on-time, high-quality hardware across multi-layer boards. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in electrical design or hardware engineering, hands-on PCB

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in electrical design, PCB development, or related hardware roles.
• Experience managing SMT and FATP builds end-to-end.
• Hands-on APAC contract manufacturer management and vendor engagement.
• AR wearables or small form-factor hardware experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical parts and components for AR wearables and small electronics.
• Collaborate with APAC vendors across time zones to support schedules.
• Manage end-to-end PCB fabrication from schematics to fabrication approval.
• Lead design releases for flex and multi-layer boards through production.
• Work with engineers to develop flexible circuits and rigid boards.
• Gather feedback, track schedules, and flag risks in development.
• Oversee SMT and FATP builds, optimizing for schedule, quality and yield.
• Engage APAC contract manufacturers to ensure supplier readiness.
