Archipelago Companies seeks a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to own Majors and national account collections across OluKai, Melin, Roark, and Tradewind. You will monitor retailer portals, drive cash collections, and defend deductions with detailed documentation across top accounts.

The role emphasizes accuracy, dispute management, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Credit teams. Hybrid in Irvine, CA; four days in the office with Fridays optional remote.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field is required.
• 5+ years of B2B accounts receivable and collections experience in wholesale, footwear or apparel preferred.
• Experience disputing retailer chargebacks and deductions with vendor compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end collections for Majors and national accounts across Archipelago entities.
• Execute a documented collection cadence in YayPay and secure written payment commitments.
• Generate aging reports, log contacts and commitments in Full Circle on the same day.
• Monitor accounts for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with Sales and Credit teams before engaging third-party collections.
• Research and validate retailer chargebacks with source documentation.
• Dispute invalid deductions within retailer dispute windows and defend positions.
• Reconcile accounts monthly and support month-end close.
• Provide quarterly reconciliations and support audits.
• Identify deteriorating payment behavior and flag risk.
