PACCAR is seeking a Senior General Accountant to join the Corporate Division Accounts Receivable team in the DC area. You will manage fixed assets, MTNs, marketable securities, intercompany accounts, and the month-end close process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 3+ years of work experience; CPA/MBA preferred.
• Strong Excel and data analytics skills are essential.
• Experience with fixed asset ledgers, MTNs, and intercompany accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Corporate Fixed Asset ledger, including depreciation and disposals.
• Account for MTNs, Commercial Paper, and marketable securities.
• Record tenant properties and lease accounting; reconcile related accounts.
• Perform month-end close and prepare journal entries.
• Handle full cycle accounting for subsidiaries and intercompany accounts.
• Prepare financial schedules for management reports and assist SOX testing.
