PACCAR is seeking a Senior General Accountant in Bellevue, WA to lead the accounting for equity, stock compensation plans, pensions and significant reserves, and to support monthly close and executive reporting across cross-functional teams.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience; CPA or MBA is a plus and SAP experience is desirable.

• Strong analytical and computer skills in Excel (pivot tables, macros, charts and graphs) and data analytic tools (Tableau).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Self-motivated problem solver with ability to work independently under pressure with deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Perform financial analysis and prepare timely, accurate reports for internal management including inputs into monthly forecast and annual budget.
• Analyze monthly reserves like workers' compensation, deferred compensation, annual bonus and long-term incentive bonus.
• Handle pension accounting including monthly journal entries, actuaries coordination, and external reporting schedules.
• Support month-end close, journal entries, and consolidation data uploads.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and support external reporting processes (10-Q, 10-K).
• Contribute to special projects requiring technical accounting and analysis.
