Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. in Plano, TX is seeking a detail-oriented AR Accountant to manage national and major retail customer receivables, dispute resolutions, contract reviews and ensure full collection of balances in SAP.

You will analyze accounts, conduct reconciliations, generate weekly and monthly financial reports, and partner with Sales and Logistics to resolve chargebacks and past-due invoices, driving process improvements and strong partner relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business/IS or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage ATB and all transactions for assigned AR accounts.
• Analyze accounts and resolve disputes with accuracy.
• Conduct reconciliations and identify process issues.
• Ensure credits for valid chargebacks are issued on time.
• Reconcile credits and request refunds when needed.
• Communicate outstanding chargebacks to Sales and Logistics.
• Support monthly close and generate financial reports.
• Provide ad hoc reporting & analysis to management.
