Job summary

ASUS is seeking a proactive Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist to oversee billing, collections, reconciliations, and reporting. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to partner cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and efficiency in AR operations.

The Senior AR Specialist will serve as an escalation point, mentor junior team members, and drive process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years AR or accounting experience, with 1–2 years in a senior/lead role.
• Experience with collections, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Oversee billing, payment application, aging, and collections for accurate AR.
• Perform reconciliations, forecast AR, and support month-end close.
• Resolve disputes and misapplied payments with sales and other departments.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and lead collection efforts to meet DSO targets.
• Lead process improvements to standardize AR workflows.
• Prepare and deliver AR reports; maintain records in AR systems.
• Guide junior team members and act as escalation point.
• Support audits, bank reconciliations, write-offs, intercompany adjustments.
• Maintain customer records and relationships.
• Manage small-scale projects with supervision.
• Participate in cross-functional projects.
• Perform other duties and special projects.
