Job summary

Amwins Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accounting Analyst for Direct Bill in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on monitoring Accounts Receivable transactions, reconciling subledgers, applying funds, and managing unapplied cash with the Direct Bill leadership team.

You will communicate with internal and external clients, handle direct bill commission activities, and train staff while supporting ad hoc projects and developing business metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting or Finance preferred) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong organizational and attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal and external clients.
• Experience in Insurance Industry accounting processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile and manage Direct Bill accounts receivable and UAC transactions.
• Process direct bill commission invoicing per protocol.
• Respond promptly to direct bill commission inquiries from clients.
• Collaborate with leadership to manage broker inquiries.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in subledgers/AR workbooks with clients and staff.
• Process adjustments and write-offs within authorized thresholds.
• Escalate aged items per protocol and mentor staff.
• Host team training sessions and assist with ad hoc projects.
