Job summary

Databricks is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager, AR to own end-to-end AR accounting across a global footprint. You will lead the monthly close, manage AFDA/CECL models, and drive AI-enabled automation to scale receivables and ensure audit-ready subledgers.

Ideal candidates bring 6+ years in AR/GL, CPA, and hands-on ERP experience (SAP/NetSuite). Collaboration with OTC, Revenue, and FP&A is essential in a fast-growing tech environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive AR and GL accounting in a mid-to-large org.
• CPA required. Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong U.S. GAAP judgment and ability to research and defend accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Own the Global AR Month-End Close and reconciliations.
• Model AFDA/CECL and prepare monthly projections.
• Lead AI/automation initiatives across AR workflows.
• Maintain AR subledger integrity and variance analyses.
• Ensure audit readiness and SOX controls with thorough documentation.
• Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A.
