Job summary

Databricks is seeking an Accounting Manager, Accounts Receivable, to own end‑to‑end technical AR accounting across global balances. You will lead multi‑entity subledger consolidations and partner with OTC, Revenue, and Finance Transformation teams to scale processes with AI-first automation.

You will apply US GAAP to complex receivables, model AFDA/CECL, and drive audits while supporting cross‑functional alignment and ERP modernization.

Qualifications

CPA strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Strong U.S. GAAP judgment for receivables and revenue alignment.
Experience with month-end close and AR reporting.

Responsibilities

Own the Global AR Month-End Close with end-to-end reconciliations and schedules.
Manage AFDA/CECL models, monthly provisions, write-offs, and audit trails.
Lead AI and automation opportunities across AR workflows using Databricks and analytics.
Maintain AR subledger integrity and provide clear AR trend insights.
Drive audit readiness and respond to SOX requests with documented workpapers.
Collaborate with Billing, Cash Applications, Revenue, and FP&A to ensure subledger accuracy.
Support SAP implementation to redesign AR workflows and standardize processes.
