Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Quality Acceleration leader to embed APQP across programs, guiding four LM business areas through design, development, and production phases. The role interfaces with executives, driving risk-aware decisions and actionable improvements.

You will manage quality tasks across hardware, software, and suppliers, ensuring robust quality plans and successful program execution in a high-visibility environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting.
• Experience implementing APQP templates at a large corporate scale.
• Demonstrated project leadership experience (logistics, milestone tracking, coord).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• APQP Integration – embed APQP and related plans into product lifecycles.
• Cross Functional Leadership – align multi-disciplinary teams to execute quality plans.
• Executive Roadshows – present program health and risks to senior stakeholders.
• Project Execution – manage end-to-end plans from genesis to closure.
• Supplier Collaboration – align suppliers with LM APQP standards and PPAP.
