Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a seasoned Security Practices Director with strong AppSec credentials to join our Professional Services team in New York. You’ll lead security engagements for enterprise customers, shape scoping, and mentor delivery staff to apply secure SDLC, risk assessment, and remediation planning.

This role requires executive-level storytelling to CISO/CTO audiences, delivery of reusable accelerators and playbooks, and collaboration with account teams on pre-sales.

Qualifications

• 7–12+ years of AppSec experience with secure SDLC, vulnerability mgmt, threat modeling, and pen testing.
• Hands-on expertise in mitigating OWASP Top 10 and other app-layer vulnerabilities.
• Experience securing SaaS platforms, IAM, API security, and shared-responsibility model.

Responsibilities

• Lead and validate technical security engagements for enterprise customers.
• Identify common vulnerabilities and provide risk-based remediation roadmaps.
• Deliver end-to-end security engagements including scoping, staffing, and timelines.
• Partner with account teams on pre-sales, discovery, and SOW development.
• Present to C-suite stakeholders and translate risk into business terms.
• Oversee delivery teams to ensure consistent methodology and quality.
• Develop reusable accelerators, playbooks, and training for staff.
