Cybersecurity Jobs in Atlanta, GA is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to lead the DevSecOps program across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services. The role focuses on embedding security into CI/CD, building scalable practices, and improving resilience through testing and remediation.

The ideal candidate will own secure coding standards, perform penetration and vulnerability testing, and work closely with developers to prevent security issues while delivering secure software

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Application Security or DevSecOps.
• Strong secure coding and code review with .NET and Salesforce/Apex.
• Experience securing CI/CD by integrating security into Git and Azure DevOps.

This role focuses on application security engineering across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services, with an emphasis on building scalable DevSecOps practices, embedding security into CI/CD, and improving application resilience through testing and remediation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and implement the organization’s application security and DevSecOps program.
• Embed application security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflows.
• Own penetration testing and vulnerability testing processes.
• Implement and manage static and dynamic code analysis.
• Manage the application security lifecycle from testing through remediation.
• Collaborate with developers to identify, remediate, and prevent application security vulnerabilities.
• Provide training for developers and establish secure coding and application security practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or a closely related role.
• Strong experience in secure coding and code review, including .NET and Salesforce/Apex.
• Hands-on Salesforce security architecture experience, including security configuration and access controls.
• Experience securing CI/CD workflows by integrating security tools into Git and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on application security testing experience using tools and methodologies such as SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security.
