Job summary

Highmark Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join our Enterprise Application Security team and embed security into the SDLC from code to production. You will help design and enforce guardrails, deploy scanners, and drive vulnerability reduction across a large enterprise.

As a hands-on security engineer, you will partner with engineering to adopt secure AI development practices, enable security automation, and report on security posture to leadership.

Qualifications

• Required bachelor-level degree in CS/IS or closely related field.
• Experience with secure SDLC and enterprise security controls.
• Knowledge of HITRUST CSF, NIST 800-83, PCI, HIPAA, COBIT, ISO 27001/2, ITIL.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams to define requirements, deliverables and timelines.
• Implement, monitor, configure, and maintain security systems.
• Develop security governance for AI-assisted development platforms.
