Job summary

Carnival Corporation is seeking a Sr. Application Security Engineer to implement and maintain software security capabilities across Carnival’s global brands in a cloud-based environment.

You will develop automation via scripts and APIs, build cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters, and run security reviews to keep software compliant with policies. The role is remote with some travel to Carnival headquarters in Miami, FL for collaboration and alignment, and candidates should have hands-on

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional experience.
• Hands-on experience with APIs, web apps, scripts; SAST/DAST scanners; threat modeling; cloud-native development with CI/CD; Docker/Kubernetes.
• Ability to communicate security findings and drive remediation with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Program, engineer, implement, and administer IT Security controls and tools to assess vulnerabilities, misconfigurations and incidents.
• Consult with development teams to test vulnerabilities from scanners and bug bounty programs.
• Automate governance processes and controls for application security activities.
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters using IaC for security services.
• Perform security reviews of applications and releases to ensure policy compliance.
