Job summary
Carnival Cruise Line is seeking a Sr. Application Security Engineer to implement and maintain software security across our global digital environment.
You will build and automate governance, develop cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes, and lead security reviews of applications and releases to meet policy standards. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on security experience, expertise with SAST/DAST, and proficiency in cloud-native development and CI/CD security practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or similar; 5+ years professional experience
- Experience with software security best practices, cloud infrastructure, and security tools such as SAST/DAST
- Ability to test, remediate, and communicate security findings to development teams
Responsibilities
- Program, engineer, implement, and administer IT security controls and tools
- Consult with development teams to test vulnerabilities from scanners and bug bounty programs
- Automate governance processes for easy adoption by software teams
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters using IaC
- Perform security reviews of applications and releases against policies and standards
