Job summary

Unity Technologies seeks a Senior Application Security Engineer to lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and manual/AI-assisted testing across Unity products, editors, and cloud services. You will secure AI systems and collaborate with US/EMEA teams to drive remediation and secure defaults.

You will perform deep code reviews, automate security testing, and contribute to secure SDLC and compliance work, leveraging a range of languages and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Experience in application security with large-scale systems.
• Strong secure coding and OWASP Top 10 knowledge.
• Hands-on secure development across multiple languages.
• Penetration testing, security assessment, and vulnerability management experience.
• Experience with Cloud security (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
• Clear technical communication across regions.

Responsibilities

• Lead threat modeling, secure design reviews, and pen testing for Unity products and services, from engine/editor to cloud services and APIs.
• Perform deep code review and manual testing on high-risk systems, using AI-assisted review processes.
• Build and operate security automation, extend AI-assisted tooling for code review and penetration testing.
• Secure Unity's AI and agentic systems, assess AI-native products and LLM integrations.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive remediation and secure defaults.
• Investigate and respond to application security incidents with root-cause analysis.
