The candidate will own architecture decisions, mentor juniors, and ensure secure, observable systems with robust deployment pipelines across cloud environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience in a production environment.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot development experience required.
• Experience deploying GenAI and/or machine learning systems into production is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture and design decisions for the product.
• Develop and maintain features across UI, APIs, backend, and infrastructure.
• Practice test-driven development and pair programming daily.
• Improve test coverage and adhere to TDD practices.
• Lead or mentor junior team members on technologies and best practices.
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Participate in daily standups and cross-site/product team meetings.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
