The Analytics Research Institute (ARI) develops AI methods for federal research-funding and administrative data, including NIH datasets. We are a small, multidisciplinary team of scientists, analysts, economists, and data scientists collaborating closely on NIH data projects.

We seek experts in LLMs, NLP, retrieval-augmented generation, and knowledge graphs to drive research and productionization while ensuring outputs are traceable to sources.

Qualifications

• Experience building AI methods for data-intensive domains.
• Familiarity with large language models and NLP techniques.
• Knowledge graphs and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) concepts.

Responsibilities

• Build AI methods for federal research data with LLMs, NLP, RAG, knowledge graphs.
• Benchmark against baselines and productionize validated methods.
• Ensure outputs trace back to source data and prompts for trustworthiness.
