Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with customers and lead modernization of their data and application ecosystems using the Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

You will focus on Spark and Data Engineering workloads, designing and implementing data solutions, mentoring client teams, and ensuring high-value outcomes with AI/ML capabilities and BI integration. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Java or C++.
• Proficiency in Spark ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing and data lake concepts, and cloud data platforms.
• Ability to work independently and with clients.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy data solutions on Snowflake for client programs.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures.
• Optimize data models, queries, and processing for performance and cost.
• Mentor clients and enable teams on Snowflake capabilities including AI/ML.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide proactive support.
