Job summary

Hologic is seeking a Senior Applied AI Engineer to drive practical, enterprise‑grade AI solutions from problem discovery to production. The role blends business-facing work with engineering, using AI, ML, and automation to solve real processes across the company.

You will work in a hybrid model, collaborating with security, governance, and IT teams to ensure scalable and secure outcomes. Strong coding skills and production experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5–8 years in software, solutions, data, or ML engineering, including at least 2 years building AI/automation solutions.
• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar language; willingness to use low-code platforms.
• Working knowledge of modern AI including LLMs, RAG, agents, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
• Familiarity with Azure-based deployments, APIs, cloud services, and authentication.

Responsibilities

• Meet with business teams to identify AI opportunities and define success measures.
• Run discovery sessions; map current processes and pin down the actual problem.
• Design and build AI solutions such as copilots, agents, and RAG applications.
• Integrate solutions with enterprise systems and ensure proper security from the start.
• Hold ownership of projects end to end through deployment and adoption.
