Job description

The target base salary for this role will range between $175,000 to $225,000 with the addition of equity and benefits, based out of San Francisco. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, and quality of interviews at the point in time of offer.

The Role

We are looking for an Applied AI Engineer to drive innovation in our compliance automation platform. You'll work at the frontier of language model applications, developing novel solutions for document processing, due diligence, and risk assessment while ensuring robust evaluation and governance of AI systems.

What You'll Do

Design and implement innovative LLM-powered solutions for compliance automation

Develop sophisticated prompting strategies and RAG architectures

Apply fine-tuning and in-context learning techniques

Create custom evaluation frameworks

Build robust model evaluation and governance systems

Implement A/B testing frameworks

Monitor model performance and drift

Research and apply cutting-edge AI techniques

Evaluate new models and architectures

Experiment with novel training approaches

Develop custom RAG implementations

Write production-quality code to implement ML systems

Implement proper monitoring

Ensure system reliability
