Job summary

Valeo is seeking an Applications Senior Technical Program Leader in Auburn Hills, MI to deliver on-time technical outcomes within defined budgets and milestones. You will lead cross-disciplinary R&D teams, coordinate schedules, and manage risks while interfacing with customers on R&D topics.

The role requires strong program leadership in automotive electrification, experience with APQP, and a proven track record in managing complex projects with embedded software and power electronics.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred).
• 6+ years of complex product/project development in automotive electrification, traction inverter.
• Experience applying APQP with strong PM and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on-time technical outcomes respecting milestones and budget.
• Lead and synchronize R&D contributors across disciplines for targets.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of components.
• Manage R&D budget, schedules, and risk assessment; escalate issues.
• Organize reviews and technical meetings with clear action plans.
• Interface with customers on R&D topics and ensure compliance with PDP/CPM/ASPICE.
