Job summary

CRB is seeking a Senior Application Administrator to maintain and support a range of software systems across CRB. You will configure, troubleshoot, and document workflows while ensuring security and availability for concurrent users.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in application administration, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with CRB's tech stack. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring of junior staff are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of experience in application administration across multiple platforms. Industry experience preferred.
• Proficiency in CRB's software stack technologies.
• Strong security practice knowledge and implementation experience.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience with industry regulations/compliance standards relevant to CRB.
• Certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, AWS SysOps) a plus.
• Experience with Autodesk AEC products preferred.
• Experience with programming/regex preferred.
• Experience with database design principles and management preferred.
• Understanding of engineering deliverables and project execution preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, install, configure, and maintain applications and systems for optimal performance and availability.
• Provide platform support for multiple systems and troubleshoot issues to resolution.
• Implement and maintain security measures to protect applications and systems.
• Monitor performance and optimize system efficiency.
• Keep applications and systems up-to-date with patches and updates.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for configurations and procedures.
• Collaborate with developers, network, and database admins for integration.
• Respond to incidents and escalate when needed.
• Conduct capacity planning for future demand.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
