Job summary

KaiHonua LLC is seeking an Application Programmer/Imaging Tool III to join the System Analysis and Development team supporting a government customer. The role covers design and development across multiple languages, UI features, reporting, and asset management platforms.

The candidate should have 5–7 years of experience, a related degree (preferred), and relevant DoD security certifications. DoD Secret clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is a must.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain an IT I level certification IAW AR 25-2 and an IAT-II certification IAW DoD 8570.01-M
• Five to seven years of experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline is preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds applications using a variety of programming languages, techniques, and tools
• Designs and develops user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements
• Develops and administers Microsoft Reporting Services and Crystal Reports according to management requests
• Administers and develops a Ruby on Rails based asset management website
• Drafts and maintains SOP documents for the functional category
• Develops applications to support the enterprise, including data models, databases, and interfaces
• Plans tests, prepares test data, executes testing, identifies and repairs errors
• Prepares end-user and system operator manuals and online help facilities
