Job summary

FOX Factory in Braselton, GA designs, develops and documents for the release of new products to manufacturing. Interfaces with cross-functional teams, directly interacting with the customer in order to analyze a market opportunity, create project goals, and accomplish those objectives.

Responsible for both customer satisfaction and the financial performance of assigned projects. Designs, tests, and documents products, coordinates with OEMs, and drives programs from concept through production

Qualifications

Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering a related field.
Experience: 7+ years of experience in product development and hands-on design experience.
Experience in automotive, power sports, or related industry preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages design and application work for 15+ projects concurrently, including complex technology developments and difficult customer interactions.
Runs projects with minimal to no oversight from management, except to highlight risk items.
Helps determine justification for new projects and advancement through gate system.
Assists less experienced staff in component choice, customer interaction and strategy recommendations, and presenting project information to upper management.
Consistent interaction with OEM customers including critical communication and/or negotiations without management review.
Establishes a project target both through internal research and direct customer interaction.
