Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a technical-commercial professional to provide engineering and application support for pollution control and filtration systems across key accounts. You will design solutions, train customers, and assist with installations, while collaborating with multiple divisions to drive growth.

The role requires bachelor-level technical education, 5–7 years of related experience, and the ability to travel up to half the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field as listed.
• 5–7 years of relevant experience in sales, field service, manufacturing, engineering, or similar role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; ability to analyze and discuss complex technical issues.
• Proven technical writing skills for reports and documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Familiarity with financial statements and basic financial analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Lotus Notes preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 50%.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical resource for customers, distributors, and Parker sales team.
• Evaluate customer applications and recommend filtration and pollution control solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues in dust collection and filtration systems on-site, by phone, or remotely.
• Provide engineering and application support to meet performance requirements.
• Deliver technical product training for customers and distributors.
• Support sales closure by communicating product value and fit.
